Oppo has officially launched its flagship smartphones, the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, in China. These models come with impressive upgrades in display, performance, and camera technology, making them strong contenders in the premium segment. With global availability also confirmed, here’s what the latest Oppo flagships offer.
Oppo Find X8 Series Specifications
The Find X8 features a 6.59-inch 1.5K (2760 × 1256 pixels) adaptive 1Hz-120Hz LTPO OLED flat display from Tianma, offering ultra-narrow 1.45mm bezels and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.
Meanwhile, the Find X8 Pro boasts a slightly larger 6.78-inch (2780×1264 pixels) 1.5K LTPO OLED micro-quad curved screen from BOE, also capable of adaptive refresh rates between 1Hz and 120Hz and the same brightness. Both models support Dolby Vision and Oppo Crystal Shield protection, promising vibrant visuals and robust durability.
Both smartphones are powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, built on a 3nm architecture. The devices offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, ensuring swift performance and ample space for apps, photos, and videos. They include ultra-large-area VC cooling for sustained performance, scoring over 3.1 million on AnTuTu.
Both models run on Android 15 with ColorOS 15. The new ColorOS version comes with a host of AI features and a refreshed design, aiming to enhance the user experience.
Coming to the cameras, the Find X8 has a triple 50MP rear camera setup, including a main Sony LYT-700 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto lens. The Find X8 Pro, on the other hand, features a quad-camera system with an additional 50MP 6x periscope lens. The Pro model’s primary camera boasts a larger 1/1.4” Sony LYT-808 sensor, enhancing the low-light performance.
Both models support 120x digital zoom, a HyperTone image engine for improved clarity, and Hasselblad Portrait Mode. They also feature AI capabilities like AI Erase, AI Anti-Reflection, AI De-Blur, and AI Super Resolution.
The Find X8 comes with a 5,630mAh battery, while the Find X8 Pro houses a 5,910mAh cell. Both devices support 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging, ensuring users have multiple charging options to keep their devices powered throughout the day.
The Find X8 series is dust and water resistant with IP68 and IP69 ratings for use in harsh conditions. Both models come with an on-display fingerprint sensor, dual SIM functionality, stereo speakers, and support for Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and dual-antenna NFC.The Find X8 Pro also introduces a shortcut button that doubles up as a camera shutter and an alert slider for quick access to basic functions.
Pricing & Availability
The Find X8 is available in Starfield Black, Floating Light White, Chasing Wind Blue, and Bubble Pink, with pricing starting at 4,199 Yuan ($589) for the 12GB/256GB variant, reaching up to 4,999 Yuan ($702) for the 16GB/512GB model.
The Find X8 Pro is offered in Hoshino Black, Cloud White, and Sky Blue, starting at 5,299 Yuan ($744) for the 12GB/256GB variant, with the 16GB/1TB Satellite Edition priced at 6,999 Yuan ($983).
Shipments to China will begin on 30 October and are expected to be available globally soon, though Oppo has yet to confirm the exact date.
