Huawei will launch the nova 13 series on 22 October. In fact, the company has already started taking pre-orders for the two new models, although it has not announced their specifications in advance.
Huawei nova 13 and nova 13 Pro are now available on Vmall. You can pay a small deposit of CNY100 and get CNY150 back when the phones are officially released. You can also enter a lucky draw for a chance to win one of 3,000 Starry totes.
While Huawei didn't reveal any specifications, it did show off the design of the new phone and listed all the colours and storage options. Let's take a closer look.
Starting with the Huawei nova 13, it looks very similar to its predecessor. We count three lenses (though one of them is likely the Laser AF system) with a 50MP label sitting underneath. The phone will be available in Purple, Green, White and Black colors and with 256GB and 512GB storage. The prices will likely be revealed on October 22 with the rest of the specs.
The Huawei nova 13 Pro has more lenses than its predecessor – four, but one is probably the Laser AF system, so three cameras (up from two on the 12 Pro). There’s no handy label to tell us the resolution, however.
Up front, there is a pill-shaped punch hole that houses two lenses. The nova 12 Pro had a 60MP ultra wide lens (100°) and an 8MP tele lens (52mm). Yes, really. Presumably the 13 Pro will have a similar setup. The Huawei nova 13 Pro will be available in the same colors (Purple, Green, White, Black) and will have an additional storage option, 1TB.
Check back in a week's time for full details on the Huawei nova 13 series. Of course, Huawei may release some details as a teaser before then, so we'll see what happens.
